Just got some film developed that has been in my cameras (35mm and 120, Provia 400) all summer until last weekend, so here are a few of the best shots. Cheers!

Alcactraz Fun
Sunday November 8, 2009: This was a great day for photo ops! I was especially excited because over the last 5 years or so, I had made 'internet' friends with an AMAZING photographer, Cindy Frey. (www.cindyfrey.com) A few years ago she photographed my friends band, Pipedown, in Europe. I thought her photos were amazing and immediately emailed her and told her I thought she was great and we had mutual friends and so on.. Long story short, we stayed in touch for the last few years and became email friends and she finally made it out to San Francisco.
It was funny to us both because we were hanging out and had never actually "met", yet it seemed like old friends. Cindy is as wonderful a person as she is a photographer, and now a 'real life' friend for life. We had an amazing time being photo nerds together and I am so happy to have been able to hang out with her. She, sadly, had to cut her stay short and we had more plans to hang out that we had to cancel, but now I have a great reason to visit Belgium and will cherish the fun memories. Here are some of the goofy fun times in photo form. Enjoy!
The day started off with a trip to Java Beach with Cindy and my wonderful cousin Holly, who was here to see her friend Briana's art show (which I also went to). Too much fun for one weekend.

On the boat to Alcatraz!

Acting like real tourists
And the funniest part of the day, our cheesy, fake background photo they take of you before you go on the boat.. Well, we didn't want look awkward like everyone else, so we posed with our cameras, lens caps on and all.. And stole a photo of our photo at the end :) Too bad the glarewas on the plastic but we had to be sneaky .. Those Alcatraz photo police were ruthless!
Hope you enjoyed the photos and check out my dear friend, Cindy Frey @ www.cindyfrey.com
